Terms of Use
Last updated October 25, 2026
BlackAttorneyFinder.com is owned and operated by Esq Solutions, LLC, Largo, Maryland. This draft is provided for general information and will be reviewed by counsel.
Esq Solutions, LLC, doing business as BlackAttorneyFinder.com ("our," "us," or "we"), operates this website and the directory, intake, and Q & A services offered through it (together, our "site and services").
These terms, including any supplemental terms we post (together, these "Terms of Use" or "TOU"), apply to every page that displays or links to them. If supplemental terms conflict with this TOU, the supplemental terms control.
By using our site and services you are a "user," and you accept this TOU as a legal contract between you and us. We may post changes at any time, and changes apply to all later use. If you do not agree, stop using the site and services immediately; any continued use is unauthorized.
You must follow all laws and regulations that apply to your activities on the site. The site is intended for adults 18 years of age and older.
This TOU grants you a limited, revocable, nonexclusive license to access and use the site and services solely in compliance with these terms.
1. Moderation
We have the right, but not the obligation, to review, screen, edit, block, or remove any content (including questions, answers, reviews, profiles, messages, and form submissions) and to regulate any conduct on the site, for any reason and by any means we consider appropriate, including suspending or terminating access.
We are not responsible for monitoring all content, and our choice to act or not act in any instance does not waive our rights.
2. Content and Conduct
You are solely responsible for content you post and for your conduct. You agree not to post or transmit content that:
- is false, misleading, defamatory, harassing, threatening, hateful, or obscene;
- infringes anyone's intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights;
- impersonates any person, attorney, or law firm, or misstates your credentials;
- contains spam, advertising not authorized by us, malware, or harmful code;
- violates any law or the rules of professional conduct.
Please also follow our Communication Guidelines.
3. Postings and Accounts
By posting content, you grant us a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use, reproduce, modify, display, and distribute it in connection with the site and services. You confirm you have the rights needed to grant this license.
If you create an account, you are responsible for keeping your login secure and for all activity under it. We may close accounts at our discretion.
5. Interactions with Attorneys and Others
BlackAttorneyFinder.com is a directory and referral resource. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice. Submitting a form or question does not create an attorney-client relationship with us or any attorney.
Any relationship you form with an attorney is solely between you and that attorney. We do not endorse, recommend, or guarantee any attorney, and you should verify licensing and discipline history with the appropriate state bar before hiring.
6. Fees
Basic use of the site is currently free to the public. We may introduce paid features (such as enhanced attorney listings) with separate terms disclosed before purchase. Fees paid are non-refundable unless stated otherwise.
7. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Esq Solutions, LLC and its officers, members, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your content, your use of the site, or your violation of this TOU.
8. Disclaimers
The site and services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that listings, ratings, reviews, or answers are accurate, complete, or current.
9. Limitations of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any decision you make based on site content. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).
10. Damages
If you violate this TOU, you agree that our damages may be difficult to calculate, and we may seek all remedies available at law or in equity, including recovery of our costs and reasonable attorneys' fees.
11. Injunctive Relief
You agree that a violation of this TOU may cause us irreparable harm for which money damages are inadequate, and that we may seek injunctive relief without posting a bond.
12. Release of Information
We may disclose information about you or your use of the site if we believe it is reasonably necessary to comply with law or legal process, enforce this TOU, or protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or others.
13. Copyright Policy
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the site infringes your copyright, send us a notice identifying the work, the infringing material and its location, your contact information, and a statement of good-faith belief, signed under penalty of perjury. We may remove infringing content and terminate repeat infringers.
14. Privacy
Your use of the site is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
15. Legal Information Disclaimer
Information on the site, including answers from attorneys in the Q & A, is general in nature and is not a substitute for advice from a licensed attorney about your specific situation. Laws vary by state and change over time. Do not delay seeking legal help because of something you read here.
16. Dispute Resolution
This TOU is governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Prince George's County, Maryland, and you consent to their jurisdiction. Any claim must be brought within one year after it arises.
17. Miscellaneous
This TOU is the entire agreement between you and us about the site. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign this TOU; we may. Notices to us may be sent to Esq Solutions, LLC, 1300 Mercantile Lane, Suite 129-39, Largo, Maryland.
